Walmart found it necessary to connect their leaders to Millennials, to find ways to be relevant and engaging to this generation.
To get leaders to understand the importance and ease of digital communication for Millennials; Walmart's traditional analogue way of brand communication was revamped into a digital format via a microsite. The microsite design was deconstructed to its essence, making the visuals clean and simple. Eg. icons, infographics, layout were pared down to its essence and purposefulness, while maintaining the need for beauty and clean aesthetic to ensure a delightful user experience for the not so tech savvy and tech savvy.
